This is a part-time position, 20-30 hours per week, and the hourly rate is $18. We are open to providing academic credit for this position where applicable. Any credit requirement must be shared and approved before offer of employment.

About the Role
Pyxis Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based health advocacy consulting firm, is seeking a Project Support Intern. Our team’s work is focused on ensuring that our clients’ projects are carried out effectively. The Project Support Intern will assist in the coordination and management of various projects, providing valuable support to project teams. The intern will gain hands-on experience in project management processes while working closely with senior associates and team members.
Responsibilities
Attend meetings with team members and clients to prepare follow-up emails including call summaries, action items, notes, slides and recordings
Assist in utilizing project management tools to track tasks and goals, ensuring cohesive communication and timely completion by project team members
Communicate with external stakeholders (i.e., sending out meeting notes, next steps)
Support senior associates and project managers in various tasks such as editing, building tracking spreadsheets, and survey-building tools
Conduct research and draft memos, slides, etc. to support efforts
Writing for social media, earned media, articles, website
Proofing and editing a variety of communications materials
Participate in communications planning activities
Perform high-level data analysis to report out on project progress
Requirements
Preference for student enrolled in a graduate program or recently graduated
Interest in and/or experience with community engagement, corporate communications, marketing, and public relations
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, problem solve, and prioritize competing requests
Attentive to detail and committed to delivering high-quality work products
Able to work independently and possesses strong organizational skills
Able to effectively operate in a virtual work setting.
Able to collaborate and work with a diverse team
Must be able to effectively engage with a hybrid work team (in-person and virtual team members).
Strong research skills and ability to present research in a concise way to support community organizations
Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiastic, willing to learn and enjoys a team-based culture
Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
